Super-8 Film

Super-8 is a film format released in the mid-sixties by Kodak, mostly for home movie use.  The film itself is contained in a small, plastic, light-tight cartridge that snaps into the camera.  I shoot primarily black-and-white stocks, but sometimes utilize Kodak’s fast, tungsten-balanced color stock for shooting at the reception.

I just think it looks amazing.  And don’t be fooled:  people who shoot video and try to make it look like “old film” with filters and what not are not to be trusted.  If you want it to look like that, why not just shoot it?
