Nine Things to Know

1.  I graduated from the graduate film program at Boston University, receiving an MFA in Film after completing my thesis film, in these woods.

2.  I started my own wedding video company in 2002, using borrowed equipment and an early version of Final Cut Pro.

3.  Super-8 film is one of my passions.  I love to shoot it and I love the way it looks.

4.  I love to tell stories, which is why I do what I do.  Film and video is the perfect medium for me to tell a story, whether it’s the life and times of New England’s favorite amusement park or that perfect summer evening when you said, “I do.”

5.  My first feature film, You Must Be This Tall, spent seven weeks at the Showcase Cinema in Warwick, Rhode Island.  It was a dream come true:  as a little kid growing up in this little state, I always wanted to have one of my films be up on that big marquee.

6.  My favorite part of the wedding day is the kiss.  I think that it sets the tone for the rest of the wedding.

7.   I look for the little moments throughout the wedding day:  the groom sneaking glances at the bride during the ceremony, the best man practicing his speech, the flower girl swiping at the cake with her finger when no one is looking.

8.  I got hitched in 2000 so it’s easy to figure out how many years I’ve been married.  I’m just not too good at the math.  But on a serious note, I’ve known my beautiful wife Marisa since college.  We have three boys and a dog named Dunkin’ Donuts.

9.  I’m laid back, relaxed and easy to get along with on your wedding day.  I get along with photographers and other vendors.  And I truly love what I do.
